Personal assistance is a needs-assessed support service designed to enable individuals with disabilities to participate in society and live as independently as possible with the help of personal assistance. The activity is part of the Health and Care Sector at Skövde Municipality.

Job Description
We are now looking for a Unit Coordinator for our Personal Assistance department!
As a Unit Coordinator, you work on behalf of the department managers, covering the entire department area but with a main focus on personal assistance.
On the department, we carry out interventions within personal assistance, short-term supervision, short-term stays, escort services, relief care, and contact persons.
In your assignment, you will be involved in and execute unit- and operation-related tasks that are necessary to achieve set goals. You are part of a working group with other unit coordinators.
Your main tasks are to relieve managers of personnel administrative work, such as staffing, absence management, scheduling, and other administrative tasks.
The role of Unit Coordinator includes contributing to the development of routines and guidelines that contribute to the unit's development and quality work.
Collaboration and cooperation are a large part of the role, where you will meet users, relatives, case workers, and other professions in the municipality.
You are a person who easily finds solutions to challenges. You have an easy time making new contacts and possess a good ability to create structure, planning, and follow-up of the operation's work. The role of Unit Coordinator includes contributing to and developing routines and guidelines that contribute to the unit's development and quality work.
Working hours are during daytime.
Qualifications
We are looking for you with relevant upper secondary education, post-secondary education, or other education that the employer deems equivalent. The applicant should have knowledge and good understanding of the area of operation, experience in administrative work, as well as experience with staffing issues and scheduling. A prerequisite for success in the role is that you have extensive experience working in various operational systems. Experience with work/scheduling in Medvind is meritorious.
As a person, you are service-oriented, and good collaboration within the operation is important to you. You also thrive with operational development as you have a good ability to see the big picture. You have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. To succeed in the role, we see that you are flexible, solution-focused, and have a very good ability to meet other people. You are initiative-taking and accustomed to working independently and in groups.
We place great emphasis on personal suitability and previous experience.
A driver's license is required.

Type of employment: Permanent position.
Duration: Permanent, start date: By agreement.
