PURCHASE CONTROLLER

As a Purchase Controller, you will act as a proactive and analytical business partner to our purchasing organization. Your mission is to enable data-driven decisions that strengthen profitability, improve planning, and optimize inventory levels across all of Gina Tricot's sales channels.

You will become part of our Purchase Controlling team, reporting to the Purchase Controlling Manager, and working closely with buyers and category managers.

Main Responsibilities:

• Budget & Forecast: Lead and coordinate budgeting and forecasting processes by setting, communicating, and following up on sales plans, purchase budgets, and key performance indicators for your categories.

• Purchasing Strategy: Collaborate with the purchasing team to develop category strategies and assortment plans. Ensure the right product mix regarding product, volume, price, margin, and timing.

• Analysis of Purchasing, Sales & Inventory: Conduct in-depth analyses of purchasing, sales, and inventory situations to identify opportunities and risks. Transform insights into concrete actions that strengthen assortment planning and optimize inventory levels.

• Strategic Planning & Tools: Be a key player in financial planning. You will also be a superuser for our budgeting tool, Planacy, ensuring it is used efficiently and according to best practices.

• Process Development: Drive improvement work within purchasing and controlling processes, including follow-up, reporting, and tool development – by, among other things, identifying and implementing opportunities related to AI and automation.

Qualifications:

• Relevant educational background in Business Administration and/or Textile Economics.
• 2+ years of experience in purchasing or commercial controlling, sales merchandising, or procurement, preferably within a retail or e-commerce company.
• Proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, and BI tools.
• Strong analytical skills and a data-driven, strategic mindset.
• Strong communication skills.
• Good command of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
