The Employment Unit in Vänersborg Municipality is now looking for a project manager for the development project "Språka" (Language), funded by the County Administrative Board.

About the Role

As the project manager, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on a targeted initiative for foreign-born women who are currently excluded from standard labor market measures. The project serves as the first step in a chain of empowerment and aligns with the intentions of the activity requirement. The assignment involves creating structured, meaningful, and accessible activities that strengthen participants' language skills, health, and social inclusion – with the goal that they will eventually be able to participate in standard activities and move closer to employment or studies.

About the Employment Unit

The Employment Unit (AME) works to strengthen individuals' opportunities for self-sufficiency through work, studies, or labor market preparatory measures. We meet people with various types of barriers to employment and work from a holistic perspective where the individual's needs, conditions, and goals are at the center.

Responsibilities

• Plan and structure the implementation of the project.
• Lead and conduct weekly activities.
• Adapt activities to meet the needs of participants.
• Coordinate language training, health, and social activities.
• Be responsible for follow-up and reporting.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

• Relevant university education.
• Experience in project management.
• Experience working with the target group.
• Good organizational skills and ability to collaborate.
• Valid driver's license (Category B).

Conditions

The position is fixed-term from 2026-09-01 to 2027-06-01.

Employment interviews will take place during week 31.
