Digitalization and Service is an area of operation created to better and more efficiently support healthcare. We aim to enable more time for care through smart service solutions and digitalization. Digital solutions and innovations are a crucial part of meeting tomorrow's challenges in healthcare, and Region Västerbotten is at the forefront of this. We work closely with healthcare and have a strong relationship. We want to be a modern and flexible workplace with many different skills to meet future needs. Currently, five operations are included in this area, and we are present throughout the county with operations at all three hospitals in Västerbotten. The Service Center is a unit within Region Västerbotten's Digitalization and Service organization that offers and delivers value-creating service services to the region's employees, patients, and citizens. RESPONSIBILITIES
As a receptionist with us, you provide important service and enable efforts that affect many.
You have a central role and are the one who welcomes and receives patients before their appointments. Your tasks include handling and registering patients before their visits.
As a front desk attendant, you are part of a team of service-oriented employees. In your work, you meet patients and visitors and assist with directions as well as transport/guide them to and from all departments of the hospital. The job involves walking long distances every day and can therefore be physically demanding. As a front desk attendant, you are also responsible for ensuring that wheelchairs are available for the public where needed.
Job rotation occurs between these tasks.
QUALIFICATIONS
To succeed in this role, we want you to have a few years of experience from working in a cash register, larger reception, or customer service in a customer- and service-oriented business. Experience in any form of hosting is an advantage. A computer will be one of your main working tools, so you need to be comfortable with computerized systems, preferably from Cosmic.
Since you need to follow established routines and working methods, it is required that you have good oral and written skills in the Swedish language. You also need to have a good ability to express yourself verbally in English. Additional language skills are an advantage.
To thrive in the job, you should be flexible and have a desire to develop and learn new things. Providing world-class service is a given for you! You have good teamwork skills but can also work independently and take your own initiatives and responsibility. As the job involves many different contacts with people, you must be able to adapt your approach to the person you are dealing with at the moment and always be professional in your demeanor. The work can sometimes be physically demanding, so you need to be in good physical condition.
