Setra in Malå is now integrating into the growing HS group. We are currently looking for two positions within finance, an Accountant and a Senior Accountant, who want to take responsibility for qualified accounting in an international and production-oriented environment.

About the roles

As a Senior Accountant/Accountant, you will be responsible for balance sheets, year-end closing, VAT, and financial reporting, while ensuring that the business complies with Swedish accounting and tax regulations. You will be a central function for audits and external parties, while also participating in process development and system support to create efficient and secure routines. Tasks and responsibilities will be distributed based on the experience you bring.

Your main areas of responsibility

  • Ongoing accounting and ensuring regulatory compliance

  • VAT and statutory reporting

  • Responsibility for balance sheets and account reconciliations

  • Year-end closing and group reporting

  • Financial reporting, documentation, and support to management

  • Audits and contact with external parties

  • Contribute to process development and system improvements

  • Cross-functional collaboration with production, logistics, and finance

Background

  • Academic degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or equivalent

  • Preferably 5 years or more of relevant experience in qualified accounting

  • Experience from an industrial or manufacturing environment is an advantage

  • Understanding of internal control and audit processes

  • Familiar with working in ERP systems (Visma, SAP, or similar)

  • Very good knowledge of Excel

Languages

  • Swedish – fluent in spoken and written

  • English – fluent in spoken and written

  • Additional languages are an advantage, especially German
