Description

We are looking for a financial administrator at 50 percent for the Department of Medical Chemistry and Biophysics.

The working hours are scheduled during regular office hours, with the possibility to adjust the distribution of working hours during the week in dialogue with the supervisor. Since the position is part-time, it can be combined with other employment.

The department conducts research and teaching at the medical faculty. In addition to departmental grants for research and education, the department's research groups have a large number of national and international research projects with external funding. We are an international workplace with employees from many different countries.

Responsibilities

The work primarily consists of ongoing financial administration, focusing on coding and managing supplier invoices. It also includes invoicing to customers. You will also work on other administrative tasks that support the daily operations of the department.

The role offers the opportunity to develop the position in line with the department's needs, in collaboration with the department's economist.

Conditions

The position is a permanent part-time position at 50 percent. Start date as soon as possible or by agreement. A probationary period may apply.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a high school diploma with a focus on economics, or other education deemed equivalent. You have experience in financial administration, such as working with invoice management or ongoing bookkeeping. You also have experience working in financial administrative systems, such as invoice or approval workflows.

To succeed in this role, you need to have a good ability to organize, plan, and prioritize your work. You are meticulous, responsible, and solution-oriented, and you thrive in a role where service and collaboration are central. Good knowledge of English in both spoken and written form, as well as good knowledge of the Office suite, is required.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Meritorious

It is advantageous if you have experience in financial administration within a university/college or another larger public organization.
