Summer Substitute for the Social Services and Care Administration

The unit is divided into two workgroups that focus on the target groups of the elderly and LSS/Social Psychiatry. We are looking for a summer substitute for the elderly workgroup. The unit consists of a total of 15 case officers, 2 senior case officers who provide support in daily work, one administrative officer, and one unit manager.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Your main task will be to investigate, assess, decide, and follow up on interventions according to the Social Services Act and the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons. The work should be characterized by good treatment, well-founded decisions, and high legal certainty. The investigation and follow-up work includes collaboration with the individual, relatives, guardians, other services within the municipality, and with external actors such as the Region.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has:

• completed or is nearing the end of a university-level education, preferably in social work or another education deemed equivalent by the employer
• knowledge of applicable legislation in the area
• good communication skills and ease in expressing yourself in Swedish, both spoken and written
• a valid driver's license (B)

It is an advantage if you have experience working with authority exercise in the field of elderly care. It is also an advantage if you have experience working in the business systems Cosmic Link, LifeCare, and with the IBIC method.

We further see that you are someone who easily builds relationships with others and creates trust while maintaining good relationships. You also need to be structured and have a good ability to prioritize tasks.
