Health Center Sälen conducts a seasonally varied operation within health care, focusing on both planned and acute services. The resident population is approximately 3,600 people, but during peak season, over 120,000 visitors come to Sälenfjällen. The area has a clear rural character with long distances and 100 kilometers to the nearest hospital.

We have a stable core staffing of all personnel categories. The workforce doubles during the winter season, especially hiring more doctors, nurses, and medical secretaries. In short, this is a stimulating workplace year-round and especially eventful during the winter season - and there are good opportunities for an active leisure time for those who enjoy forests and mountains.

As a medical secretary with us, you will work with medical record writing and related administrative tasks. You will receive and register visitors at our reception/cashier. You will function as the hub and specialist in the workplace's administration.

Requirements

• one of the following qualifications: Medical Secretary Program 120 credits, Health Administration Program 180 credits, Medical Secretary YH 400 points, or a 1-year post-secondary health documentation education
• good proficiency in Swedish and English in both spoken and written form

Meritorious:

• experience as a medical secretary

Personal Qualities:

We are looking for someone who wants to work in an intensive, educational, and fun work environment in Sälenfjällen. You find it easy to collaborate with colleagues and other professional categories. You are flexible as the role involves being a sounding board on many administrative issues. You will be one of our faces to our visitors, and therefore we see that you have a good ability to meet different people. Seasonally, we have a large influx of both foreign and out-of-county patients, which requires structure and the ability to keep track of multiple different routines. This also means that we prefer you to be proficient in English as well as Swedish in both spoken and written form. We see that you enjoy a fast pace during a work shift and prefer to work varying hours during the peak winter season. We currently have a stable team of medical secretaries and administrators with a lot of experience who are in need of another contributing star. Could it be you?
