We are now looking for a summer substitute for the reception at the main entrance of Falu Hospital - a place where you will be our face to the public and where your approach creates security for patients, relatives, and visitors.

This is a social and varied position where you help people, answer questions, and ensure everything runs smoothly in a busy environment. With us, you will have a meaningful job where every interaction counts and where your service mindset makes a real difference.

The position is a temporary employment during weekdays in the summer, and you need to be able to work most of the period from June to August. For those who want to get into the role early, we offer the opportunity to be introduced and work extra already in the spring.

Receptionist at the main entrance of Falu Hospital - Summer Substitute Job Responsibilities

Your role includes:

• Welcoming patients and visitors at the reception
• Managing bookings, registrations, cash handling, and payments in the medical records system
• Handling and booking medical transportation
• Providing information and guidance to patients and relatives
• Answering phone calls and providing information
• Performing administrative tasks related to the reception

We are looking for someone who has:

• Completed high school education
• Good computer skills and experience working with multiple IT systems
• Strong knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Experience working in reception, cash handling, or customer service as deemed relevant by the employer

It is an advantage if you:

• Have experience working with booking or registration systems
• Have experience with other administrative tasks
• Experience in cash handling or payment administration

We are looking for someone who enjoys meeting people and creating a welcoming first impression. You provide a warm and professional approach and create security through clear communication and calmness even when the pace is high.

You are socially skilled, adapt your approach to the situation, and work in a structured manner with good prioritization skills. You are stable and secure in yourself and can handle challenges.

You collaborate well but also work independently and take responsibility for your tasks. Your humility and solution-focused mindset make you a positive force in both the team and in interactions with visitors.
