Borlänge Municipality is now seeking an engaged and structured developer for a 6-month temporary position within the education administration.

The education administration within Borlänge Municipality is responsible for the municipality's activities in preschools, primary schools, and high schools. We continuously work to develop quality, safety, and legal certainty in our operations.

As a developer, you will belong to the management support unit, which is a special unit within the education administration responsible for the operation and management of processes.

The unit's mission is to provide administrative management support for the entire education administration, including responsibility for the operation of the administration's processes (legally mandated), internal/external audits, handling, and investigations of cases. The unit works closely with the management team to drive and support development work within the education administration.

The unit employs case handlers, qualified case handlers, developers, and quality developers.

As a developer, you will be part of the administration's support and development work and will play an important role in contributing structure and documentation in various cases.

RESPONSIBILITIES

In the role of developer, you will work with:

• Preparation and compilation of documentation for investigations
• Administrative support in handling complaints, violations, and other cases
• Documentation, follow-up, and quality assurance of processes
• Support in the administration's development and improvement areas
• Other administrative tasks based on the needs of the organization

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who:

• Has at least a bachelor's degree from a college or university, preferably in social sciences or another relevant field
• Has good administrative skills and works in a structured and meticulous manner
• Has a knack for expressing oneself well in both speech and writing
• Can work independently while enjoying collaboration with others
• Has a professional and respectful approach in cases that may be sensitive

It is an advantage if you have:

• Experience working in public service or municipal administration
• Previous experience in investigative work, case handling, or administrative support

OTHER

During the interview, you will need to provide proof of citizenship in Sweden/EU/EES or a valid work permit.

For those offered employment, a criminal record check from the Swedish Police Authority is required according to the Act on Background Checks from 2001-01-01.
