Welcome to the Labor Market and Integration Unit (AMI) in Ludvika Municipality!

To meet the challenges of tomorrow, we are now looking for an engaged employee who wants to make a difference. Our mission in the labor market area is to be there for the residents of Ludvika Municipality who need support on their way to self-sufficiency through work or studies.

AMI is organizationally part of the individual and family care (IFO) area within the Social and Education Administration. In addition to AMI, IFO includes the support and supply unit, the open care unit, the investigation unit, and the foster care and family law unit.

Here we base our work on our values, Lagandan, which consists of four principles: relationships, joy, learning, and drive. It is built on collaboration and teamwork, a sense of community, and a desire to continue developing. It is with Lagandan that we take on our mission and strive towards our vision of being the municipality of the future, growth, and opportunities.

Increasing inclusion, more people in work - Ludvika, is a project funded by the Västerbergslagen Coordination Association (Finsam).

Job Responsibilities

The main tasks consist of guiding, coaching, and matching the participants enrolled in the project to strengthen them in the process of approaching their goals.

You will largely meet people who have been away from the labor market for a long time and who, due to various difficulties, need individualized support. An important part is to establish parallel efforts, for example, with the Region or other relevant actors.

The goal is to support individuals in becoming self-sufficient through a coaching and motivating approach. Steps along the way may include motivational conversations, workplace visits, matching participants to internships, follow-ups, participation in group activities, and much more. You will work with individuals both one-on-one through individual conversations and in groups with various activities.

Contacts and collaboration with the local business community are an important part of the job, which means we are looking for someone who has the ability to create and maintain partnerships. You will also have close collaboration with our internal and external partners, such as the Employment Service, the Region, educational providers, community organizations, the support and supply unit, and other municipal operations.

You will be part of a team where we closely collaborate to achieve our goals.

Qualifications

Relevant post-secondary education, for example, in social work, behavioral science, or equivalent.

Practical experience in working with labor market issues, guidance, or similar assignments, as well as experience working with the target group.

Good administrative and communication skills, as well as experience documenting in computerized operational systems.

Ability to work independently, structured, and solution-focused.

Driver's license (manual)

Very good oral and written Swedish.

Education in: BIP, 7tjugo, Solution Focus/MI, and SE/IPS is an advantage.

Personal Qualities

Great emphasis is placed on personal qualities and experience in labor market issues. We are looking for someone who takes responsibility for their assignment, is a team player, takes initiative, and drives processes forward. Since a large and important part of the job involves meetings and conversations with people, we expect you to be confident in yourself, engage with people with enthusiasm and curiosity, and have the ability to meet people based on their circumstances.

You have a flexible working style with the ability to quickly change focus if needed. You are creative and solution-oriented. Our mission is based on collaboration, so we expect you to enjoy creating good relationships and partnerships. The work also involves continuous documentation, which means precision and structure are important. You need to express yourself very well in Swedish, both orally and in writing, and have good computer skills.
