About the Job
As an investigator in the traffic applicant examination section, you are interested in creating benefits for citizens and businesses.
You will be part of a section consisting of 10 employees who work with assessments, permits, and exemption management within the framework of traffic legislation and driver's license areas. You focus on the citizen and want the contact with the authority to be smooth and understandable. You are not afraid to develop established working methods and, together with your colleagues, create processes that result in increased value for both society and the Swedish Transport Agency. You will take responsibility and deliver based on the section's assignments and needs, and you see it as natural to support colleagues in your joint mission. You will also contribute to creating a good working environment.
You will primarily work with appeals regarding decisions made by municipalities, county administrative boards, and the national road authority concerning speed limits, traffic regulation, and road signage. In the long run, you will also handle cases where we examine various exceptions from the rules in the traffic regulations and the Swedish Transport Agency's regulations. The complexity varies from simpler cases to very complex issues. The work includes collaborating with other investigators and lawyers as support in the investigation process to make accurate and well-founded assessments. In your role as an investigator with us, you will also work closely with the communications department and be involved in handling media inquiries and interviews, where you represent the organization both in specific matters and in general as a spokesperson.
