ABF Mitt is now looking for an operations administrator based at the district level. This is a role for you who want to be involved from the start, building structures and working methods while contributing to a trusting and collaborative team.
We are embarking on a joint development journey, where both the organization and working methods are shaped along the way. For us, people, relationships, and learning are just as important as routines and systems – and we believe that strong administration is key for the operation to function sustainably in the long term.
The district ABF Mitt has been formed through a merger of the regional popular education activities in Dalarna, Gävleborg, and Värmland. This transformation is part of a major organizational change that has encompassed the entire ABF and is part of ABF's future strategy for a long-term sustainable, clear, and cohesive study association.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
This is a role for you who thrive when you can create order, take responsibility, and be a stable resource in a developing organization.
As an administrator, you have overall administrative responsibility and work with coordination, structure, planning, and execution of administrative tasks. You are an important part of creating a functioning everyday life where operations can be carried out, followed up, and reported correctly.
You will have many points of contact and collaborate with business developers, member organizations, and partners. In these contexts, you are a reliable and structured resource who takes responsibility and facilitates the administrative work.
This is not a finished role in a finished organization. It is a role for you who thrive in change, see opportunities in the unfinished, and want to help build both the structure and the team.
Your responsibilities include, among other things:
- Registering courses, events, and other popular education activities
- Managing reporting and ongoing administration of operations, including documentation and follow-up
- Handling financial administration related to operations
- Working with document management and internal structure
- Providing service and information to participants and employees
- Coordinating orders and practical administrative flows
- Working with communicative tasks related to administration
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who is confident in an administrative role and enjoys creating order, structure, and good service in a daily life with many points of contact. You are responsible, meticulous, and self-driven, and have good communication skills in both spoken and written form.
We prefer that you have worked with administration in a similar role and are used to taking responsibility for structure, follow-up, and ongoing administrative flows. You should also be comfortable with financial administration, such as invoicing and simpler financial flows, preferably within the non-profit sector. Experience in popular education or association work, as well as relevant education in administration or equivalent, is an advantage.
We place great importance on your personal experiences and qualities and assume that you share the values of the labor movement.
OTHER
As an employee at ABF, you are covered by the employment conditions specified in the Folk Movement Agreement, which regulates, among other things, pension, vacation, and salary model.
A driver's license and access to a personal vehicle are required.
