The Orthopedic Clinic in Falun includes two inpatient departments that provide both acute and elective care, an orthopedic outpatient clinic, and a secretarial unit. In our care departments, we treat patients with acute orthopedic injuries such as fractures, pain conditions, and infections, as well as patients undergoing planned procedures, such as prosthetic surgeries. Here, nurses, nursing assistants, doctors, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists work together in multidisciplinary teams with the goal of providing safe, efficient, and high-quality care.
We are now creating a new and developing combined position where you will divide your working time between departments 17/18 in the role of care developer and work with surgical coordination. The position is central to driving the operations' processes forward and contributing to increased quality in care. The weekly working time is 40 hours.
Business Developer and Operations Coordinator, Orthopedic Clinic FalunJob ResponsibilitiesWe are looking for a driven and experienced nurse who wants to be part of developing our orthopedic operations. With us, you will have a central and important role where you will both work operationally in the organization and drive development that creates real benefits for patients and colleagues.
In this combined role as a business developer and operations coordinator, you will work both strategically and operationally to develop care processes and ensure an efficient and patient-safe surgical flow. You will initiate, drive, and follow up on development and quality work, support managers and employees in change work, and contribute to strengthening competence development and the long-term sustainability of care. At the same time, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating orthopedic surgeries, where you optimize surgical capacity, prioritize lists, and collaborate with multiple professions to ensure good care flows. The role involves close contact with patients, follow-up of results, and active participation in improvement work related to both care processes and surgical operations.
Other InformationQualificationsFormal requirements:
- Licensed nurse
- Several years of experience working in inpatient care within orthopedics
- Experience in quality and development work
- Experience in surgical planning and coordination responsibility
- Good system skills and extensive knowledge of the healthcare administrative system Cosmic
- Good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing

- Leadership/managerial experience
