The emergency department at Falu Hospital is tasked with providing specialized healthcare for acutely seriously ill or injured citizens. This encompasses seven different medical specialties, around the clock. We work with patients in surgery, medicine, cardiology, infection, orthopedics, gynecology, and pediatrics.

Great to see you found our ad! We are a cheerful team of varying ages who enjoy our workplace. We are now looking for perhaps you for a temporary position while one of our colleagues is studying.

Here at the Emergency Clinic in Falun, the main task is to document for the seven clinics: Medicine, Orthopedics, Surgery, Pediatrics, Cardiology, Infection, and Women's Clinic, so we have very varied writing! We have recently started working in the Cosmic data system. We staff the reception together with nurses. In the reception, we answer the phone, handle patient inquiries, manage cash and billing, and other administrative tasks.

We have all been new at some point, and in the emergency department, you will receive a safe and thorough introduction to the operations.

If you are the one we are looking for, you have a positive attitude towards the job, enjoy variation in your writing, and like to work both independently and in a team.

We staff weekdays from 7 am to 12 am and weekends from 8 am to 12 am. This allows you to have preferences about how you want to work, evenings or days, whatever suits you best. Weekend work approximately every third weekend.

You who are applying are a trained medical secretary with good knowledge of the Swedish language and medical terminology.

We are looking for someone with one of the following:

• Medical Secretary Program 120 credits.
• Healthcare Administration Program 180 credits.
• YH education 400 points.
• 1-year post-secondary healthcare documentation education.

It is advantageous if you:

• Have previously worked in Cosmic.
• Have previously worked in an emergency department.
