Your workday as an accountant

In the role of accountant, you will perform a large part of the work independently but will also be part of the university's accounting team. You will work broadly with both bookkeeping and accounting while performing and developing important reconciliations and controls. You will actively participate in the work with financial statements and annual accounts, and you will also be responsible for our asset accounting and its development.

Requirements:

To succeed in the role of accountant and thrive with us, you should be self-driven, have good collaboration skills, and be meticulous and responsible.

You also need to have:

• a degree in accounting/auditing
• several years of relevant experience in qualified accounting work and work with financial statements and annual accounts
• the ability to express yourself well in spoken and written Swedish.

Meritorious for the assignment is if you have:

• experience in government accounting or accounting in the public sector
• experience working in the ERP system Unit4 ERP (Agresso)
• experience working with or being responsible for asset accounting
• experience participating in the development/digitization of financial processes/work methods.

Employment

The employment is a permanent position, 60% working hours, with start as soon as possible according to agreement. A probationary period applies. Dalarna University is an institution that operates in two locations. The placement for this position is Falun, and work in Borlänge may occur. There is an option to sign a remote work agreement.
