Welcome to our friendly health center! Leksand Health Center has about 80 employees. We operate according to the Vårdval assignment.

The catchment area based in Leksand municipality includes a population of just over 15,700 inhabitants. We are a health center located in a rural area, which means that we handle much of what would be referred to other locations in other health centers. Leksand is a tourist destination, which means we have a varied influx throughout the year, and this in turn makes the work vary according to the season.

The health center's opening hours are currently Monday to Friday 8 AM to 5 PM. The working hours for the position are currently distributed between 7:40 AM and 5:05 PM, depending on the function you are staffing for the day.

Scope: The position is full-time at Leksand Health Center, but the degree of employment can be discussed.

Medical Secretary/Healthcare Administrator, Leksand Health Center Job Responsibilities

With us, you will have a varied and developing job. You will, among other things, work with mail handling, journal writing in the Cosmic program, reception work, and tasks based on assigned areas of responsibility; such as performing listings of new patients, record-keeping, system work in various systems (1177, Tele Q, etc.), access assignment for passage, etc.

You will be part of a unit of 7 employees who play an important role in the overall functioning of the health center. Collaboration and contact with other professional categories at the health center occur daily.

You have one of the following qualifications:

• Medical Secretary Program 120 credits.
• Healthcare Administration Program 180 credits.
• YH education 400 credits.
• 1-year post-secondary healthcare documentation education.

You have good general IT skills as well as good knowledge of the Swedish language and are proficient in journal writing.

Meritorious:

• Experience working as a medical secretary/healthcare administrator in primary care
• Knowledge and experience in the Cosmic journal system

You have good references from previous workplaces and internships.
