ValueOne is looking for a Senior Planning Consultant for one of our clients in the manufacturing industry in Ludvika. The assignment can be partially remote, and we offer compensation for travel to and from the workplace. The start date is planned for April 2026, and the assignment initially lasts for 6 months, with the possibility of extension.

ValueOne specializes in supply chain management, purchasing, and logistics. We offer our clients services in three business areas: leasing of purchasing and logistics consultants, recruitment of purchasers and logisticians, and Management Consulting where ValueOne develops our clients' purchasing, logistics, and supply chain in terms of strategy, model, method, process, organization, and competence.

About the role

As a Senior Planning Consultant, you will be responsible for independently creating, implementing, and developing a comprehensive planning methodology. The purpose of the role is to create stability, clarity, and efficiency in planning as well as to drive change initiatives that support the organization's strategic goals.

• Implement and develop a structured planning method for both short-, medium-, and long-term planning horizons.
• Establish buffer strategies, sequencing logic, and governance models for the planning process.
• Analyze, structure, and implement working methods that are sustainable over time and anchored in the organization.
• Conduct analyses and lead workshops related to planning and capacity.
• Act as an advisor and expert support to internal departments on matters related to planning processes within Supply Chain.

Experience and skills

To succeed in this role, you have extensive experience in planning processes within the manufacturing industry. You possess a good understanding of the entire planning chain, capacity planning, buffer strategies, and sequencing. We also believe that you speak and write fluently in Swedish and English and have previous experience in implementing and developing planning methodologies and processes. A post-secondary education in industrial economics or equivalent is an advantage.

You are structured, pedagogical, and analytical with the ability to collaborate well and build trust. We also believe that you are confident in your work role and are used to working independently and driving improvement initiatives forward in a dynamic work environment.
