About the role

As a Digital Business Developer, you will work with the development and management of Kläppen's website, online booking, and business systems, ensuring that the connections and functionalities between these are stable and evolving. The role is operational and business-oriented, focusing on improvements in flows, functionality, and user experience.

You are an important part of our digital work – and a part of the whole that works with business strategy, budget, or business systems. Priorities and major decisions are made together with management and other functions.

The role suits you if you want to take responsibility within your area but appreciate clear frameworks and collaboration rather than being the sole “hub”.

This is what you will do

· Be responsible for the development, management, and optimization of Kläppen's website, online booking, and business systems – always with business, conversion, and user experience in focus.

· Ensure that the website, online booking, business systems, and CRM work together in a smart and efficient way.

· Work data-driven with analysis, reporting, and decision support for various business areas.

· Drive improvements in booking flows and customer journeys – from inspiration to completed stay.

· Be the requirements setter and contact person for external system and development providers.

· Initiate and lead digital development projects related to systems, integrations, and data.

· Work closely with the business and translate needs into concrete digital solutions.

What the role is not

To be clear:

· You do not have budget or P&L responsibility

· You are not the sole system owner for the business system

· You are not expected to drive long-term digital strategy on your own

This is a specialist role, not a managerial or leadership role.

Who are you?

We believe you are a person who combines business understanding with technical curiosity. You enjoy taking responsibility, seeing the big picture, and making things happen – without getting stuck in unnecessary complexity.

We would like you to have:

· Experience with websites, web programming, CMS, and transaction-driven or business-critical digital environments.

· Experience with booking systems, e-commerce, or similar digital flows.

· A good understanding of how business systems, CRM, and other digital systems are interconnected.

· Experience working with requirements setting against external suppliers.

· A basic understanding of integrations, APIs, and data flows.

· A data-driven approach with a focus on analysis, follow-up, and conversion.

· You want to work closely with the business – not as a remote consultant.

As a person, you are business-driven, solution-oriented, and pedagogical. You can explain technology in a way that everyone understands – and you thrive in a generalist role where no day is the same.

Extra plus if you also…

· Have experience from the tourism industry, destinations, e-commerce, or booking logic.

· Have been involved in system changes or larger digital transformation projects.

· Have worked with CRM, customer journeys, or marketing automation.
