The Environmental Unit is part of the Community Building Administration and the environment, planning, and construction operations. The Environmental Unit is led by a unit manager who operates under the operations manager and the administration manager. At the Environmental Unit, we work with supervision and control according to the Environmental Code and food legislation. Together we have a broad, exciting, and important mission!

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As an administrator in the Environmental Unit, you will play a central role within a team of soon 16 colleagues. You will work closely with an administrative colleague with a similar role. It may also be relevant to collaborate with other administrators within the operations to further promote effective cooperation.
Your work includes, among other things, registration and filing of incoming documents, as well as ensuring that the information in the cases is correct. You will also work with invoicing and statistics, as well as archive management where you sort and archive cases and manage orders according to contracted agreements.
Your role includes being particularly knowledgeable in operational systems and routines to support case handlers. Finally, you will be involved in confidentiality assessments of public documents requested by individuals, media, and companies.
In summary, the position offers a dynamic work environment where you contribute to effective operations and correct handling of cases.
QUALIFICATIONS
Requirements for the position
- Post-secondary education, for example in public administration or other education deemed equivalent by the employer, or documented experience of at least 2 years.
- Swedish, very good in both spoken and written.
- Good knowledge of MS Office or equivalent office support programs.
- Driving license B
It is advantageous if you have
- good knowledge of the Local Government Act, Administrative Procedure Act, Environmental Code, etc.
- previously worked in various operational systems.
- good English in spoken and written.
- worked in financial systems and digital archive systems.
- experience in administration within public operations, authority exercise, and archiving.
To succeed in the role, you need to be meticulous, structured, and enjoy administrative work. You should be comfortable handling many questions simultaneously and be able to work independently and purposefully to achieve both the unit's goals and your own.
You are service-oriented and appreciate collaboration and helping out even when the pace is high. Flexibility and the willingness to learn new things are prerequisites, especially as we are a developing organization.
You are good at solving problems and adapting, which allows you to handle difficult situations effectively. You are also skilled at building relationships and communicating, which helps create a good work environment and provide excellent service.
