Summer Job as Junior Land Negotiator, Borlänge Job Responsibilities

As a junior land negotiator, you help ensure that the Swedish Transport Administration gains access to the land needed for our road and railway projects. Currently, we have ongoing projects ranging from small-scale, such as planning and constructing a bus stop, to more complex and extensive projects, such as building several kilometers of road and railway. The main tasks of the position will be to support land negotiators in their daily work within the property law area regarding land access, compensation, and agreements. You will also be responsible for your own tasks. You will work together and collaborate with land negotiators at the office in Borlänge.

Additional Information

Duration of the summer job: A total of six weeks during the period from June 1 to August 31. Which weeks will be determined together with the summer employee.

Each summer job is advertised separately. This means that you need to apply for each summer job you are interested in. If you meet the requirements, you may be considered for several summer jobs and thus be contacted by several different managers for interviews.

If you meet the requirements in the advertisement and proceed in the recruitment process, you will be required to complete web-based selection tests. Selection for interviews is based on the requirements in the advertisement and the results from the selection tests.

Qualifications

As a person, you are solution-oriented and have the ability to understand various tasks and solve the situations that arise. You have good collaboration skills, are engaged, and perform your tasks reliably. You are motivated by an active employee role where you responsibly take charge of your tasks while being attentive to how you are part of and contribute to the whole by collaborating with others.

We are looking for someone who

  • is currently pursuing a higher education degree in surveying with a legal focus or has completed such education in 2024 or later.
  • has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
  • holds a driver's license for passenger cars
