As one of our senior project managers takes their next step within our organization, we are now looking for their successor.

As a senior project manager with us at Boliden in Garpenberg, you are the driving force responsible for taking projects from start to finish. Your role:

We see that our next senior project manager will lead projects primarily in the areas of mechanics and piping or electrical and automation. You will independently drive all types of projects and assignments within these areas towards the clients. As a project manager, you work according to Boliden's project model and are responsible for ensuring that the project follows the plan regarding results, budget, and timeline. You will check that Swedish laws, regulations, and Boliden's technical instructions are followed. You will ensure that documentation (CE, spare parts, facility register, PID, etc.) is updated in connection with executed changes. Coordination of contractors and ensuring that implementation occurs according to the environmental and occupational health and safety requirements set.

Your team:

You will be part of the surface project section. The group consists of five driven, engaged, and experienced project managers led by the project manager, to whom you and your colleagues report.

Your tasks:

• Drive investment projects according to Boliden's project model.
• Analyze needs, conditions, and requirements, and continuously steer projects towards agreed goals.
• Coordination between all involved parties, both internally and externally.

Your contribution:

• High school education in a relevant field
• Experience in project management within industry or construction
• Swedish and English in speech and writing
• Driver's license B

Preferred qualifications:

• University or engineering degree
• Certified project manager
• Experience in project management within the mining industry and/or construction sector
• Experience as a project manager in multidisciplinary projects
• Experience in pumps, piping design, mechanics, electrical, and automation
• Experience in construction law
• Bas-U and Bas-P certification
