Every year, the Swedish Social Insurance Agency makes 21 million decisions that affect people's lives and society as a whole. We disburse approximately 260 billion kronor each year. These are the tax funds we manage. It is a significant responsibility. Therefore, we thoroughly examine each case, adhere to laws and regulations, inform and guide, care, and show consideration. This is a job for you who want to take responsibility. Welcome to the Swedish Social Insurance Agency.

The area of Strategy and Development Management within the Department for Management Support and Analysis is responsible for coordinating development in the agency's highest priority development areas, agency development management, and operational development to ensure it is effective and purposeful. The area is also responsible for the agency's operational architecture. Strategic development is one of two areas within this domain.

Strategic Analysis, Management, and Development
As a business developer in the area of Strategic Development, you will be responsible for driving issues related to development management. Based on the agency's development needs, experience and expertise in digitization, digital transformation, and/or AI issues within public administration are particularly valuable. You will be responsible for producing reports, consultation responses, decision-making materials, and similar products, including conducting the necessary fact-finding and analysis work. You will also present these orally in various contexts, such as for your own team, for agency management, or for an external audience. The work varies between long-term and short-term focus and often involves the need to contextualize issues, events, and activities within a societal or political framework and understand how this affects operations. The role also includes collaboration and dialogue with various parts of the agency and sometimes with external parties. Furthermore, the role involves contributing to the work on agency-wide strategies and strategic environmental and future analysis. You will also be part of the support for the management of the operational area.

This is a multifaceted and varied role that offers excellent opportunities to grow and develop as a business developer and to eventually take on greater responsibility within the agency's strategic development work.

The position involves handling confidential information, which places high demands on proper management. Therefore, it is important that you, who will work with us, have a strong security awareness.
