ABOUT THE POSITION
Our client is one of Sweden's largest banks, and on their behalf, we are seeking three KYC Analysts for an initial six-month consulting assignment. In this role as a KYC Analyst, you will work with the bank's private customers. This involves analyzing and following up on both existing customers and new customer applications.
You will be employed by us at Academic Work and have an engaged consultant manager who will support and coach you throughout the assignment.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities
As a KYC Analyst, you are an important resource in the bank's highly prioritized work to ensure that the bank does not participate in money laundering or financing of terrorism. You will review and compile information regarding customer cases and are expected to make decisions based on collected data. You will work independently in your role as a KYC Analyst and base your work on established guidelines, laws, and regulations. As a KYC Analyst, you are expected to have a clear focus on the task, a strong sense of responsibility, and an aptitude for performing tasks with quality and efficiency. Your responsibilities are specified below:
- Periodic follow-up of private customers in different risk classes
- Working with risk assessments
- Writing decision-making documents
- Conducting enhanced customer due diligence measures in relation to the customer's risks
WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO
- Has at least a completed high school diploma in economics, law, or similar
- Communicates fluently in Swedish and has good knowledge of English. Both languages are used in the work.
- Has a good understanding of financial relationships and terms
- High digital maturity and ease in understanding digital systems and tools
It is strongly meritorious if you have:
- Previous work experience in banking and/or with KYC/AML
