Accounts Payable Assistant

SJR is looking for a meticulous and structured Accounts Payable Assistant for our client, a leading company located in Hammarby Sjöstad, just south of central Stockholm. This is a long-term full-time consulting assignment starting in mid-May for an initial period of 9 months with a possibility of extension.

About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks within accounts payable and financial administration. You will handle incoming supplier invoices via ExFlow and ensure high quality throughout the process – from scanning and interpretation to correct coding and payment. The job also involves administering approval flows, following up on unpaid invoices, and being the point of contact for both suppliers and internal approvers in case of discrepancies. You will continuously work with bank reconciliations and register maintenance in Business Central in connection with monthly closings. The role also includes creating self-invoices for subcontractors, allocating unapproved invoices, and reconciling relevant balance accounts. This is a role for you who thrives in a central and responsible function where accuracy and quality are in focus.

Responsibilities

• Handling incoming supplier invoices via ExFlow
• Quality assurance of scanning, interpretation, and coding
• Payment of supplier invoices and reporting
• Administration of approval flows and follow-up on unpaid invoices
• Bank reconciliations
• Contact with suppliers and internal approvers in case of discrepancies
• Register maintenance of the supplier register in Business Central in connection with monthly closings
• Creating self-invoices for subcontractors
• Allocation of unapproved invoices
• Reconciliation of balance accounts

Suitable Background

You have a good understanding of VAT and invoice management from an accounting perspective, as well as experience working with digitized invoice flows and representation invoices. Experience with Business Central is a requirement for this assignment. If you also have experience with ExFlow, it is highly meritorious. You express yourself fluently in both Swedish and English and thrive in a role where you can work methodically, accurately, and with a strong focus on quality.
