At the Community Planning Department, approximately 200 people work with the mission of making Sigtuna Municipality an attractive, vibrant, and safe place to live and work. We plan new residential and commercial areas. We design and build streets and pipelines for water and sewage. We manage parks and forests, as well as schoolyards, preschool yards, and playgrounds. We work on traffic issues, parking enforcement, waste management, and much more. We handle regulatory authority, exercise supervision and control, and issue permits within our areas. We invest in our employees through both excellent resources for professional development and joint activities.
The Property Department is in the midst of a transformation journey. Through portfolio management and an internal rental model, working methods have fundamentally changed. The Property Department consists of two units: The Quarter Land Management Unit and the Public Space Management Unit.
The department's mission is to represent the municipal council in the role of property owner through an efficient and professional client and management function for the municipality's local supply and land management.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage administrative agreements, defect reports, and rental notices in our property systems.
- Handle archives, service letters, internal invoicing, and preparation of certain financial information.
- Manage annual calendars and work plans for our units.
- Collaborate with and support property managers and project managers.
- Administration regarding new hires and terminations.
- Take minutes at meetings.
- Other administrative tasks.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who has:
- Post-secondary education in economics/administration or other education/experience deemed equivalent.
- Experience in similar administrative roles.
- Experience working in a politically governed organization is an asset.
- Knowledge of property management systems is an asset.
- You express yourself well both verbally and in writing, and find it easy to communicate and collaborate with various stakeholders.
- You have a B-class driver's license and good IT skills in Microsoft 365.

You act with business acumen, have an analytical eye for both the big picture and details, and are willing to take initiatives to solve challenges in a long-term manner. You collaborate smoothly with both colleagues and external parties, always with a solution-focused and humble attitude.
Employment Type: Fixed-term employment.
