We are now looking for you to become a Data Protection Coordinator at the Municipal Administration's Department of Digitalization and Security, located in Mörby Centrum. You will become part of our Safety and Security Unit, led by our Safety Director. Data protection work is carried out in close collaboration with the Information Security Coordinator. We at the Safety and Security Unit work broadly within the field and are responsible, among other things, for requirements setting, coordination, and support in processes concerning crisis preparedness and civil defense, safety and crime in the municipality, information security, data protection, physical security, security protection, fire protection, welfare crime, and insurance issues.

RESPONSIBILITIES
In your role as Data Protection Coordinator, you are the municipality's main contact officer and the Municipal Administration's contact officer for data protection, and thus responsible for handling, driving, and developing the municipality's data protection work and personal data processing, both strategically and operationally.
As a Data Protection Coordinator, you contribute expertise in your subject area under the responsibility of the Safety Director, but you must also be able to support other work within the entire safety and security area. In your role, you coordinate the municipality's data protection work through, among other things, the network of contact officers, and you work in consultation with the Data Protection Officer and the municipality's various departments. Collaboration also takes place with other municipalities and state authorities.
Your tasks include, among other things:
- Handling and managing the register list and register extracts, following up and inventorying personal data processing and statistics from the operational work within data protection.
- Leading the municipality's network of contact officers and serving as central support and coordinator for data protection questions and responding to referrals.
- Supporting the organization with requirements setting in procurements and with the drafting of data processing agreements and similar contracts.
- Drafting and revising guidelines and instructions concerning data protection issues and ensuring that the organization complies with the regulations applicable to security and data protection.
- Drafting a training plan, informing, and providing training in data protection for employees participating in the processing of personal data.
- Coordinating internal controls and external inspections, as well as informing management and other relevant persons about changes and news regarding data protection.
- Ensuring the personal data incident process, as well as providing advice in connection with personal data incidents and impact assessments.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you with:
- Relevant university education, for example a law degree, or other education and experience that the employer finds equivalent.
- Good experience of both strategic and operational data protection work in public administration.
- Very good written and verbal communication skills; you express yourself fluently in Swedish in speech and writing.
It is an asset if you have:
- Experience of handling cases in a public administration.
- Experience of coordination or project work.
- Knowledge and experience of IT or information security.
- Knowledge and experience of video surveillance.

Before a decision on employment is made, a security clearance according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) will be carried out, as the position involves handling security-protected classified information and participation in security-sensitive activities. The security clearance for this position includes a register check and a special personal investigation including a background check. Swedish citizenship is required for employment. The employment entails an obligation to be assigned to military service.
A probationary period may be applied.
Salary form: Monthly salary.
