Compliance Officer (DPO) at Tre

Do you have several years of experience in compliance, focusing on data protection, and want to further develop in a role with both breadth and depth? Do you want to work for a company that challenges the Swedish telecom market in a rapidly changing industry? Then this could be the role for you. We are now looking for a Compliance Officer, also serving as DPO, for an exciting and central role where you will have the opportunity to influence and contribute to strengthening our work with compliance and data protection throughout the organization.

About the role

In this role, you will work broadly within compliance while also being responsible for data protection issues in the function as the company's DPO. You will become an important partner to the business where you conduct analyses, controls, and documentation, provide advice on both large and small issues, and drive training initiatives that strengthen Tre's compliance. You will also participate in projects related to compliance and contribute a risk-aware perspective in both strategic and operational contexts.

As Compliance Officer and the company's DPO, your role is to monitor and support the organization's compliance with a particular focus on data protection issues. For example, you will support the organization in conducting impact assessments (DPIA), performing controls, and following up on data protection measures, providing advice, support, and recommendations – always focusing on translating regulations into sustainable and practical solutions.

You will work in a GRC team that is the company's second line of defense, close to the Head of GRC, Risk Manager, and Information Security Officer. Together, you will develop processes, clarify responsibilities, and create conditions for good compliance. The role is both strategic and operational and suits you who thrive on combining analysis, structure, and communication with a solution-oriented and hands-on approach.

More about you

We believe you have a law degree or equivalent education and several years of experience in compliance with a focus on data protection – preferably from work in the second line of defense or a similar compliance function. You have a good understanding of GDPR and feel confident in making risk-based assessments even when the issues are complex.

You are proficient in both Swedish and English and communicate clearly and professionally, while also being able to translate regulations into practical and sustainable working methods in the organization. If you also have experience with GRC systems and conducting compliance training, we see that as an advantage.
