Lawyer at Särnmark in Sundbyberg
Särnmark is one of Sweden's oldest companies in personal assistance, founded by the current owner in the early 1990s. We operate based on a clear and stated value foundation, and our primary driving force is to create the best conditions for individualized personal assistance based on each person's unique needs. Särnmark currently has over 2500 employees, and our customers and staff are located all over Sweden. Särnmark's head office is in Sundbyberg, but we also have offices in Uppsala, Gävle, Malmö, Linköping, Gothenburg, Kinna, and Visby.
About the position
As a lawyer at Särnmark, you represent our clients as legal counsel in cases primarily concerning personal assistance according to the Social Insurance Code (SFB) and the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons (LSS). You are responsible for your own cases from application to court process and follow-up. You work independently with high quality in delivery, while being a clear legal voice internally and contributing to the development of working methods and competence within the organization. Continuously holding internal and external training is a natural part of your work. The position also includes participating in certain activities arranged for clients and other stakeholders, where you assist with advice and information about the regulations surrounding personal assistance and what legal support existing and potential clients can receive from the company's lawyers. The role suits you if you want to make a difference in an organization where law is close to people's everyday lives.
Who are you?
You have several years of experience in similar work and have previously worked as a lawyer in personal assistance. You have a strong commitment to the legal development in the field and a desire to share knowledge both internally and externally.
We are looking for someone who is self-assured and takes responsibility with calmness and clarity. You are trustworthy, have good self-confidence and integrity, and you thrive in a role where you are expected to make qualified assessments, be a stable support in the organization, and at the same time be professional in meetings with clients, authorities, and partners. You are fearless and dare to be straightforward when needed, standing firm in your assessment and driving cases forward without prestige. You combine empathy with legal precision and create security through structure, predictability, and clear communication.
You have an excellent ability to express yourself in Swedish, both spoken and written. Additional language skills beyond Swedish are an advantage.
Employment conditions and placement
Permanent full-time employment (starting with a 6-month probationary period). Placement is at Särnmark's head office in central Sundbyberg. The role also involves some travel to our offices and clients across the country. You belong to the department for law and quality and report to the chief lawyer/quality manager.
Särnmark offers
A challenging and meaningful job in an industry characterized by constant development – where the law makes a concrete difference for people. You will be part of a dedicated team with high competence and great responsibility. We offer wellness benefits and flexible hours.
Application
The contact person for recruitment is Johanna Högberg, chief lawyer and quality manager, 08-505 920 28, [email protected]. Please note that we do not accept applications via email.
Interviews are held continuously.
