About the assignment

We are looking for a payroll administrator for our client in Stockholm for a consulting assignment that runs from 2026-03-09 to 2026-06-08. There is some possibility of extending the assignment. The working degree is between 50%-100% depending on your preference. The work takes place during office hours at the client's premises at Slussen. The assignment aims to ensure stable and correct payroll processing during a period of high development pace and to contribute to continuity and quality in the payroll process.

Your tasks

  • Independent payroll administration from start to finish

  • Ongoing work in Heroma (registration, checks before payroll runs, runs, corrections, etc.)

  • Handling of: new hires, terminations and changes in employment conditions, absences, leaves, compensations, and handling of benefits, handling of travel and expenses (if applicable)

  • Quality assurance of payroll data

  • Contacts with managers and employees regarding payroll-related issues (including support)

  • Interpretation and application of laws, collective agreements, and local guidelines

  • Participation in the improvement and simplification of routines and working methods as needed

  • Depending on background, pension administration (KPA) may be a task

  • If necessary, maintenance of guidelines

  • Handling employer declarations and individual data to the Tax Agency

Your qualifications

  • At least 3 years of documented experience in payroll administration

  • Good experience working in the payroll system Heroma

  • Experience of the entire payroll process, not just parts of it

  • Good knowledge of the Office suite

  • Good knowledge of Swedish labor law, collective agreements (municipal/regional agreements are advantageous), tax and social security regulations related to payroll

  • Very good Swedish in speech and writing

  • Good knowledge of English, especially in writing

We are looking for someone who has a good ability to work independently despite a short introduction time. You have a good ability to understand local routines and working methods and are used to documenting your work.

Meritorious

  • Experience in payroll work and collective agreements within municipalities or regions

  • Experience in providing consultative support to managers and operations

  • Experience in improvement or efficiency work within payroll processes

  • Education as a payroll consultant or equivalent post-secondary education

  • Experience in pension administration (KPA)
