Junior Lawyer at Särnmark

About the Position

As a lawyer at Särnmark, you will represent our clients as legal counsel in matters primarily concerning personal assistance according to the Social Insurance Code (SFB) and the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons (LSS). The position involves independently managing legal cases and ensuring that all contact with authorities, clients, and colleagues is handled in a qualitative and representative manner from application to court process and follow-up. Regularly conducting training for colleagues, clients, and other stakeholders in relevant areas is also part of your work. The role includes participating in certain activities arranged for clients and other stakeholders, where you provide advice and information about the regulations surrounding personal assistance and what legal support existing and potential clients can receive from the company's lawyers. This role is suitable for you if you want to make a difference in an organization where law is close to people's everyday lives.

Who Are You?

We are looking for someone who has recently completed their law studies or has worked for about 1-2 years. You have a genuine interest in the area of LSS and personal assistance. Experience in similar work or other experience in social care, personal assistance, or with persons with disabilities is an advantage but not a requirement. We want to find someone who is curious and sees it as a challenge to quickly familiarize themselves with their new tasks and understand the complexity of the issues surrounding personal assistance.

Great importance will be placed on your personal qualities. You are an outgoing, social, communicative, self-driven, and motivated person who finds it easy to create contacts and instill trust. You are empathetic and have the ability to meet people in vulnerable situations. The work demands high accuracy, responsibility, and good teamwork skills. To thrive with us, you also need to be flexible and open to changes and new working methods.

You have a very good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing. Additional language skills beyond Swedish are an advantage.

Employment Conditions and Placement

This is a permanent full-time position (starting with a 6-month probationary period). The placement is at Särnmark's headquarters in central Sundbyberg. The role also involves some travel to our offices and clients around the country. You will belong to the legal and quality department and report to the chief lawyer/quality manager.
