About the Position

We are urgently looking for an accountant for a government authority in Stockholm. You will belong to the finance and procurement unit.

The position includes the following tasks:

• Work in U4 Agresso
• Work with accounting and bookkeeping
• General ledger, cash and bank reconciliations
• Work with reconciliations, declarations, troubleshooting, and controls
• Work with monthly closings

Assignment Period and Scope:

The position as an accountant is a full-time consulting assignment (08:00-17:00) starting as soon as possible and is expected to last until 2026-08-31, after which there is an opportunity for extension of 3x3 months. The contract can be extended until 2027-05-31 at the latest. There is an opportunity to work up to two days a week remotely by agreement.

If you proceed in the process, you need to be available for an interview at the authority on Wednesday, February 25, and Thursday, February 26.

Requirements for the Position:

• University degree in finance or equivalent education (e.g., vocational college) and at least five (5) years of work experience in similar roles.
• Good knowledge of MS Office or equivalent
• Good knowledge of the relevant accounting system U4 Agresso
• Experience in government accounting
• Ability to communicate fluently in Swedish, both verbally and in writing.

Meritorious:

• Completed at least one (1) assignment of similar work at a government authority lasting one (1) year. The reference assignment can be ongoing.
• At least one and a half (1.5) years of work experience in similar roles at a government authority
• Very good collaboration skills, being attentive, meticulous, responsible, and having a high sense of service
