About the job as a registrar:

In the role of registrar with our client in the public sector, you will work broadly within both registration and archives. The assignment involves supporting the organization during a parental leave and working full-time. About 20-30 percent of the time will consist of registration work, while the remaining part focuses on archival issues - including investigative tasks such as disposal investigations.

You will be an important resource in ensuring the correct handling of public documents, digital archive management, and archive care. The role also involves close collaboration with employees in the organization, where service and support are central. The position is classified in a security class, which means that a security clearance will be conducted before the start of the assignment.

Common tasks include:

• Registration work and handling of public documents.
• Archive care and digital archive management.
• Conducting disposal investigations and other investigative tasks.
• Supporting employees in matters related to registration and archives.
• Working in one of the market's larger diary systems.

The candidate we are looking for:

We are looking for someone with a background in archival science or equivalent experience who enjoys a role where you can combine structure, service, and expertise. You have several years of experience in registration and archival work and are comfortable working independently. To succeed in the role, you need to have a good understanding of public operations and the regulations governing the handling of public documents. You are service-oriented, meticulous, and have an easy time collaborating.

To qualify for the position, you must meet all the requirements:

• University education in archival science or equivalent knowledge acquired through extensive work experience as an archivist.
• At least three years of work experience in registration and archival work, including archive care, disclosure of public documents, disposal, and digital archive management. At least one year of experience in these tasks from public operations.
• Experience and interest in providing service to employees.
• Knowledge and experience in one of the market's larger diary systems.

Meritorious for the position is:

• Familiarity with laws and regulations governing public operations and the functions and responsibilities of archivists.
• Several years of experience working with information security, good knowledge of GDPR.
• Several years of experience in disposal investigations.
• Several years of experience in how work is conducted in e-archives.
