Your role
This is a role for you who want to contribute to developing the city's analytical and strategic work in the area of welfare fraud. A new cross-functional team for work against welfare fraud has been established in the city where this role will primarily be located. The team will contribute to increased coordination, knowledge exchange, and enhanced operational support from the central level. You enjoy working with investigations and analysis and have the ability to take collective responsibility for identifying and examining both risk sectors and individual processes where there is a risk of welfare fraud, in close collaboration with relevant stakeholders. The work requires analytical ability, structure, judgment, and the ability to translate observations into well-founded conclusions and documentation.
You plan, organize, and drive your work both independently and collaboratively. Good collaboration with team members, the city's administrations and companies, as well as relevant authorities and other municipalities is important for success in the role.
Examples of common tasks:
- Conduct analyses, follow-ups, and investigations, and provide methodological support to the city's administrations and companies.
- Collaborate internally and externally on reviews and development in the area of welfare fraud.
- Identify risks and patterns and produce documentation and recommendations.
- Contribute to knowledge development through environmental monitoring and participation in relevant networks.
In the long term, other tasks within the unit's area of responsibility may also become relevant.
Your competence and experience
We are looking for you who have:
- an academic degree in the social sciences or equivalent education that we assess as relevant for the position
- experience in a similar role as a strategist, coordinator, or investigator
- experience in one of the unit's areas of responsibility from a state actor or municipal operation
- preferably experience in the area of welfare fraud, especially with knowledge of developing risk-based working methods and methods for follow-up and control.
To succeed in the role, you are confident and stable in your professional role with good collaboration skills. You are structured and have a strategic and analytical ability to drive long-term development issues in the area. You are communicative, a good stylist, and comfortable speaking and presenting in larger and smaller contexts. It is natural for you to keep yourself updated on the latest developments related to your profession.
We place great emphasis on your engagement and personal competencies when filling this position.
Other
When you submit your application, you will be asked to answer a number of questions that are crucial for our continued selection process for this specific position. In your cover letter, we would like you to provide a brief motivation of why you would be suitable for the position and what you can contribute related to the qualifications in the advertisement.
The recruitment process will consist of interviews, both digital and physical, work samples, and reference checks.
Warm welcome with your application! The City of Stockholm works with competence-based recruitment aimed at recognizing each person's competence and thus counteracting discrimination.
