Daily Activities - Support Assistant

Daily activities implement decisions regarding employment within the framework of LSS as well as SoL. The operations are located in the central area.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The work places high demands on structure, creating opportunities for meaningful employment in Daily Activities through established routines and guidelines. The job requires you to be independent as you have significant responsibility for the participants in the operations.

It is also required that you have good collaboration skills as we work together in staff groups. Within Daily Activities, there are many departments and locations, which means you should enjoy when rapid changes occur. You need to feel secure in yourself as you may work across all operations and departments, which are spread across three different locations. The job requires that you are a flexible person who knows a little about a lot in various areas and is not afraid to try new things and share yourself.

The work situation requires that you enjoy working independently with group activities and/or work directed towards individual participants.

A requirement is that you feel secure working with participants who may exhibit outwardly aggressive behavior and have a low-arousal approach, as well as a deep understanding and knowledge of Autism. Experience in clear pedagogical methods such as visual support and sign communication is also an advantage.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has studied the care program/support assistant with a focus on LSS & SoL, or other education that the employer assesses as equivalent.

You have experience working within LSS and preferably within Daily Activities. Previous experience with clear pedagogical methods, social stories, and sign communication is desirable.

You should enjoy challenges, have a strong commitment, be change- and solution-oriented, creative, and able to meet individuals with special needs.

The job requires that you can work independently, make your own decisions, and collaborate with other actors/agencies.

You should be able to express yourself well in speech and writing, have good computer skills, as social documentation is a significant part of the work.

A B driver's license (for manual) is a requirement.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Interviews will be conducted continuously.

Work experience with individuals on the autism spectrum and those with outwardly aggressive behavior is required.
