About the Job

We are now looking for an LSS case officer for a temporary position during 2026.

If this sounds interesting, you will, if you apply for this position, be part of the Adult Unit's authority exercise. Here, LSS case officers work together with social workers focusing on harmful use and dependence as well as violence in close relationships. The authority exercise consists of 11 positions, and the Adult Unit also includes the Counseling Center's treatment team, which consists of coordinators, counselors, and alcohol and drug therapists.

Job Responsibilities

As an LSS case officer, you will work with authority exercise by investigating, assessing, and deciding on interventions for people with various disabilities according to SoL and LSS.

You will be part of a team and have close collaboration within the team and with other staff categories working to implement decisions made. You will also provide information and support to users, relatives, and organizations. The work also involves collaboration with both internal and external partners and authorities. In our work, we strive for a coordinated approach around the whole individual to provide the best support.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with a degree in social work or equivalent education deemed comparable by the employer. You should have experience and knowledge of current legislation and authority exercise in the area of disability, and you also need to have experience and interest in working with the target group. You should be able to work both independently and in a team, and you should be flexible, resilient, and have a good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing.

We are looking for a person who is positive, energetic, and finds social work enjoyable. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

A valid driver's license (B) is a requirement.

The position is a 100% temporary position starting on 260401 or by agreement. The temporary position extends until December 31, 2026.
