Our coordinator/support pedagogue is on leave, so we are now looking for a replacement for 12 months (with the possibility of extension) for our lovely LSS accommodation for children & young people in Älvängen!

We want to hire you if you have experience with children and young people within the LSS target group and have worked for a few years as a coordinator or in another leading role.

As a coordinator at Båtsmans Children and Youth Residence, you will work closely with the unit manager. About 25% of the position is as a coordinator, while the remaining percentage you will work as a support pedagogue in the children's group.

The coordinator's responsibilities include coaching employees in pedagogical work, scheduling, receipt management, etc. You contribute to the development of the operations and focus on the needs of the children and young people.

About you

To succeed in the role, we see that you are a secure, calm, and flexible person. You should have a few years of experience working with children and young people within LSS. You should enjoy collaboration on various levels. We see that you have a pedagogical background in terms of both experience and education.

The focus is on the children and young people who live with us, and on our employees who will support and meet the children in their everyday lives. We are looking for someone with creativity, courage, and commitment who, together with the employees, wants to build an operation that best benefits our children and young people.

We want you to have

- A university degree in social work/pedagogy (e.g., social worker, occupational therapist, social pedagogue, educator, treatment pedagogue, care and support coordinator)

- KY/care education at the high school level, care and nursing, or leisure pedagogue

- Training/experience in clear pedagogy, TEACCH, low-arousal approach, Studio 3, MI

- Experience working with the target group, neuropsychiatric disabilities, autism, intellectual disabilities

- Driver's license B

- Good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing.

We consider it an advantage if you also have:

- Previously worked as a coordinator/group leader

- Experience in scheduling
