You will work with a man diagnosed with SMA (Spinal Muscular Atrophy), a muscle disease that affects muscle strength and mobility but does not affect cognitive functions. He communicates freely and describes how he wants the support to be provided.

The work includes, among other things, transfers with a lift and wheelchair, personal care, and hygiene.

It is a plus if you enjoy working with people and are willing to take your own initiatives, for example by suggesting activities.

We are looking for someone who is committed, respectful, and attentive. We prefer that you have great patience and the ability to be personal while acting professionally. We are looking for both male and female assistants.

You need to:

• Speak and write good Swedish.

• Be responsible and meticulous.

• Be able to work independently.

• Be secure and professional in your role.

Since the client instructs their assistants, it is important that you are adaptable, attentive, and also proactive in your work approach. You need to be able to take initiative when the situation requires it and contribute to following routines.

Experience in personal assistance or working with physical disabilities is an advantage, but personal suitability is crucial.

Employment type: As long as the assistance assignment lasts.

Scope: As agreed.

Working hours: Morning, day, evening, and night (weekdays and weekends).

Start date: As agreed.

We apply individual salary setting and have a collective agreement. Interviews are conducted continuously, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Before a potential employment, you must be able to prove that you have the right to work in Sweden by showing that you have citizenship within the EU/EES or a valid work permit.
