The Social Administration's work encompasses authority exercise and execution for target groups including children and youth, individuals with substance abuse issues, individuals with mental health challenges, individuals in need of financial support, and support due to violence in close relationships. The administration is divided into departments for adults, youth, support and work, and administration. We have a process-oriented working method where collaboration, development, and continuous improvements lead us forward.

We are now looking for a social pedagogue for a temporary position in the housing unit. The unit consists of a support housing for socially vulnerable individuals with substance abuse issues and a group home and support housing for individuals with co-occurring disorders. The temporary position is from May 1 to December 31, 2026, with the possibility of extension.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a social pedagogue with us, you will work together with your colleagues in direct work with the residents and you will be responsible for supporting the residents and collaboratively creating a meaningful everyday life. You will work based on the assignments we are mandated to follow and monitor the interventions together with the resident.

The goal is the residents' well-being, integrity, and self-determination. The work includes having support conversations, documentation, assisting with daily tasks, and being present in the residents' daily lives. We are also responsible for outreach interventions. The role also includes medication management after approved delegation.

You and your colleagues work together to create a daily life for the residents where influence and participation are central to the everyday work. Strengthening the individual's own resources and opportunities for change are other key words that permeate our work. In your role, you should take initiative and start activities to achieve results.

As a social pedagogue, you will work in the unit's three operations where you will have the opportunity to contribute to our common goal of a meaningful and supportive working method for the residents. The operations are staffed around the clock. Working hours are scheduled for days, evenings, and weekends.

QUALIFICATIONS

Mandatory requirements:

• Educated social pedagogue
• Experience in social work with adults, substance abuse, and mental health
• Driver's license (B) required for the position
