ABOUT THE POSITION

We at Kura Omsorg are now looking for several personal assistants for our client in Vänersborg. The position is part-time and the working hours are scheduled for day, evening, and night. You are expected to be able to work all shifts. The job involves working every other weekend, and there may be waiting time during night shifts.

Start date is according to agreement. We would like you to be able to start the introduction at the end of March or during April.

ABOUT THE CLIENT

The client is a cheerful and lively girl in her 20s. She has Pitt-Hopkins syndrome, autism, ADHD, intellectual disabilities, and lacks verbal speech. Her assistants use visual support and TAKK for communication with her.

Furthermore, she has a positive, curious attitude towards life. She loves animals, movement, and music, and finds it exciting to watch others play sports. She has a great need to be active and feels best when she can engage in activities such as walking, gymnastics, dancing, or swimming.

As an assistant, you play an important role in enabling her active and fulfilling everyday life. You will accompany and participate in activities such as visits to shopping centers, swimming pools, gymnastics, and music cafes. You will support her in daily routines, such as dressing and personal hygiene. The role also includes helping with cooking, cleaning, and other household chores, as well as creating structure and keeping track of her schedule.

ARE YOU THE ONE WE ARE LOOKING FOR? 

We are looking for a cheerful and energetic assistant. You enjoy singing and are not afraid to be yourself. Furthermore, you have a genuine interest in working with people and a good ability to notice and analyze the individual's needs.

As a person, you are attentive, proactive, and solution-focused. You are engaged in your work and understand the importance of adapting your support based on the situation and the individual's condition. Personal suitability is highly valued. The client prefers female applicants.

REQUIREMENTS

• Driver's license (manual/automatic)

• Non-smoker

• Ability to tolerate chlorine/Swim

• Master TAKK or have a willingness to learn

• Understand and be able to communicate effectively in Swedish

Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other compensations in accordance with collective agreements.

If you are going to work with children and young people under 18, you are required to present an extract from the criminal record. From March 1, 2026, new regulations will apply, meaning that the background check will include both an extract from the criminal record and an extract from the suspicion register. The extract is ordered via the Police Authority's e-service. Please note that processing times may vary, so ordering should be done well in advance.
