Do you want a meaningful job where you truly make a difference? We are now looking for a reliable and engaged personal assistant for a 30-year-old man who lives close to nature in his own cottage on his parents' farm in Alingsås. There are sheep, a dog, and a cat here – a calm environment for you who appreciate being close to nature.

A driver's license and access to a car are required as the residence is a bit far from public transport. Driving is also part of the job.

About the assignment

The man lives with autism and epilepsy and needs support in all aspects of his daily life. On weekdays, he is at a daily activity center between 09:00 AM and 03:00 PM.

In his free time, he enjoys being involved in cooking, participating in planned activities, and having a daily life with clear structure. Weekends are often spent outdoors, taking walks or having coffee together with his assistant.

Who are you?

You are reliable, self-sufficient, and take initiative. We prefer that you are an active person with a genuine interest in cooking, as you will be cooking together during your work shifts.

The job requires you to be structured and comfortable with clarifying pedagogy and fixed routines.

Requirements: Driver's license and access to a car

Meritorious: Experience with autism

Great emphasis is placed on personal qualities and your willingness to create a safe and functioning collaboration.

About the position

Temporary employment as long as the assignment lasts, approximately 60% with varying working hours. Weekday shifts are usually from 03:15 PM to 08:55 AM or 03:15 PM to 09:15 PM. Weekend shifts can be from 09:00 AM to 03:00 PM, 03:00 PM to 09:00 AM, or full-day shifts.
