Are you looking for an exciting and developing job with engaged colleagues? We are seeking a new colleague for the Adult Unit 1 in the Social Administration center.

The position is a permanent employment.

Adult Unit 1 consists of about 16 social workers divided into three groups, each with a lead social worker and a unit manager. The office is located in the center at Skånegatan 9A.

The adult area is organized with a common reception unit and shared providers in the form of an adult support team (VST) and an eviction prevention team. There are also two investigation units (Adult Unit 1 and Adult Unit 2). We are organizationally part of the same department as the income support units in the administration.

The mission of the Adult Unit is to handle cases and provide support to individuals with issues related to homelessness and housing, criminality/ex-offenders, harmful use and addiction, co-morbidity, and/or violence in close relationships. We strive to work together with the individual to find solutions based on their specific needs.

The social workers' mission is to investigate applications and reports, assess the need for interventions, formulate assignments for implementation, and follow up on interventions. The investigative work is conducted according to applicable legislation, SoL and LVM, and in our investigative work, we apply ASI, FREDA, and Patriarch. A large part of the work involves collaboration both internally and externally.

As a social worker with us, you will be part of an engaged and stable workgroup. You will receive an individually tailored introduction based on your needs. You will have support in your daily work from your lead social worker and through group method guidance. You will also have regular process supervision and professional development.

Qualifications

For the position, you are required to have a degree in social work. The investigation group works to assess the need for interventions according to SoL and LVM, which means you should be well acquainted with the relevant legislation in the field. You should also have experience in public authority practice within social services.

It is an advantage if you have experience working with housing issues, violence in close relationships, as well as harmful use and addiction issues. Experience working in Treserva and training in MI, ASI, and Patriarch are also advantageous. A B driver's license is desirable for the position.

We value your ability to maintain structure in your work, set clear goals, and plan activities in good time. The role requires you to take responsibility for your work and be able to work independently. You ensure that initiated activities are completed and follow up on results.

Furthermore, you have the ability to create trusting relationships, which is important as you will have many contacts at different levels. Collaboration with both internal and external actors is part of everyday life, and you therefore need to be able to work well with others.

You treat your surroundings with respect, listen, and develop an understanding of the person and situation in order to make correct decisions. You can convey information in a pedagogical manner, and to succeed in the job, you need to be flexible and patient in your contact with clients. You enjoy documenting and express yourself well in both speech and writing.
