Description

The Labor Market Unit and Social Support and Self-Sufficiency have the mission to support individuals towards the goal of achieving self-sufficiency.

The unit consists of social workers, labor market administrators, and supervisors in the unit's practical activities. The unit investigates the right to financial assistance and aims to free and develop the individual's resources on their path to studies or work.

In the unit, there is an opportunity for individuals to do work practice with support from supervisors, for example, through service jobs, café operations, janitorial work, or green rehabilitation. The unit collaborates with other authorities and employers/training providers. We base our work on the BIP and IPS methods.

Job Responsibilities

As a social worker, you are responsible for processing and investigating financial assistance. You will create an action plan together with the applicant and collaborate with labor market administrators to jointly find the right intervention. As a social worker, you will work with systematic follow-up and coach and motivate the individual on their path to self-sufficiency.

You will receive support from a senior social worker in individual case reviews and will join a workplace with colleagues who have extensive experience in the field. As a social worker, you have a great opportunity to plan your work and your workday.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

• A degree in social work or another education that the employer deems equivalent.
• Experience working with financial assistance or other authority functions.
• Experience in motivational work and supporting people towards sustainable change.
• Good administrative skills.
• A flexible mindset and the ability to reprioritize your tasks if necessary during the workday.
• A good approach and the ability to be clear and set boundaries in situations that require it.

We believe that you prefer to work in a team with shared responsibility but also have the ability to independently drive your work forward. You will be part of a positive group of experienced and professional administrators with a good collaborative climate.

We offer external supervision as well as close case supervision from a senior social worker.
