Who am I?

I am a young girl with a disability that requires personal assistance in my daily life. Right now, I am looking for someone to work as a summer substitute and on-call assistant in my team.

As my assistant, you will help me with personal care, transfers, meals, and when I am out on various leisure activities. I have both physical and cognitive challenges, as well as epilepsy. I use alternative communication, which is something you will learn together with me and my team.

I lead an active and social life and enjoy spending time with friends, listening to music, watching movies, playing games, cycling, working out at Friskis & Svettis, or doing something else fun. I live centrally in Trollhättan, which makes it easy to get here.

A day with me might look like this:

You will help me with my morning routines and prepare me for the day. Then we will go to my daily activity center, where you will assist me with the tasks I need support with. During certain parts of the day, you will work alongside a colleague as I have double assistance. Later, we might take a nice walk in the sun (hopefully!) and find something else fun to do.

Who are you?

I am looking for someone who is reliable and attentive. You do not need to have previous experience with alternative communication - the most important thing is that you are curious and willing to learn. Experience as a personal assistant is a plus, but not a requirement. The most important thing is that we enjoy each other's company and that you fit well in the team.

About the position:

The position is a summer job with a fixed schedule for three weeks this summer.

Week 30: Mon 15-21, Tue 14.30-21, Wed 8-20, Thu 15-21, Fri 15-21, Sat 8-21, Sun 8.30-21
Week 31: Mon 8-18, Tue 8-21, Wed 16-21, Thu 15-21, Sat 8-21, Sun 8-21
Week 32: Mon 15-21, Tue 14.30-21, Wed 16-21, Thu 8-21, Fri 8-21

In addition to these weeks, you will also work as a substitute as needed and receive requests for shifts during vacancies. The schedule starts in week 30, but the position is immediate as you will be booked for extra shifts and shadowing already now.
