We have been entrusted to start a completely new assistance assignment with a wonderful young man living on a farm outside Strömstad. He lives here with his family as well as many different animals. This means we are looking for someone who does not have allergies to furry animals.

We are looking for someone who wants to help create adventurous days with our client! He is a cheerful 28-year-old with autism. He needs calm, responsible, and positive assistants who see possibilities. We are looking for an assistant who wants to help build new routines as there have previously been a lack of resources to help him be active and have a varied everyday life. This is an opportunity to create a fun and, above all, exciting job as a personal assistant.

Role and Experience of the Assistant

You need to be calm, secure, attentive, and engaged as a person. We believe the best for the client is stable, reliable people who have a good sense of humor and an ability to see the positive. Support is needed in hygiene, cooking, activities, and constant supervision.

You guide and motivate when necessary while understanding when to step back. The tasks include most of what is done in everyday life, and we do it together! You will assist and support in everything the client does. No heavy lifting is involved.

Experience from similar work is an advantage. We welcome male applicants, but it is not a requirement. It is important that you fit into the family situation, and most importantly, that you and our client enjoy being together, have good chemistry, and have fun together! It is a plus if you enjoy art, music, and media.

You will receive individualized introduction and access to our training program.

Desirable Experiences

• Swedish spoken and written.
• Communicative in English since one parent understands very little Swedish.
• Experience from similar work.
• Driving license B.

Working Hours/Employment Degree

• On an hourly basis - Extra as needed or during the regular assistant's sick leave.
• During the summer months, summer substitute to cover for the regular assistant's vacation.
• Work shifts are scheduled on weekdays and weekends.
