ABOUT THE JOB

We are now looking for a secure and committed personal assistant who wants to work as a substitute as needed, with the possibility of a permanent schedule for the right person.

You will be working with a 27-year-old man with autism and intellectual disabilities. He communicates non-verbally and uses objects to support his communication. He lives at home with his parents in a calm environment.

The job involves providing support in daily activities, creating structure and predictability, as well as motivating and guiding in various tasks throughout the day. He is a very routine-oriented person who thrives best when the day follows a clear structure.

Leisure activities include horseback riding and visits to the swimming pool, so it is important that you are a good swimmer and not allergic to horses.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO:

• Is secure, stable, and calm in yourself
• Has a good ability to follow routines and work in a structured way
• Is patient and has a motivating approach
• Has the ability to build trust and work in a low-arousal manner
• Preferably has experience with autism and intellectual disabilities
• Has a driver's license and preferably access to a car (the train station is about 1.5 km away)
• Is smoke-free

WORKING HOURS AND EMPLOYMENT DEGREE

Extra as needed with the possibility of a permanent schedule. Working hours are mainly scheduled for afternoons/evenings, approximately 3:00 PM – 9:00 PM or 3:00 PM – 10:00 PM. Part of the work shift involves double assistance together with a colleague.

SALARY

At Vivida, as an assistant, you receive a fixed base salary per hour + vacation pay and possible additional compensation. A collective agreement is in place.

START DATE

As soon as possible. If we are a good fit for each other, we will agree on a start date.
