Economist Responsible for Association Grants

The Service and Technology Administration is the common service and service provider for Katrineholm Municipality. We are about 200 employees working to help Katrineholm achieve its vision of a Place for Life & Joy. We are responsible for the operation, management, and development of services in: meals, living environment, communication, active leisure, and service. We work with finance and operational follow-up, registration and information management, processing of association grants, emergency issues, and property matters.

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are now looking for an analytical and collaborative economist who wants to work with the processing, follow-up, and development of association grants. As an economist responsible for association grants, you will work both strategically and operationally. You will become an expert on our grant models and collaborate with both association consultants and associations.

You will also have overall responsibility for internal control work within both the Cultural Committee and the Service and Technology Committee's areas of operation and actively work to further develop this.

The role also involves participating in budget work, preparing forecasts, and conducting financial analyses for relevant operations.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a university degree in economics or another relevant education and who has experience in processing and financial management.

It is advantageous if you have also worked in the public sector. You work independently, take responsibility for your tasks, and drive your processes towards results.

You are flexible and adapt quickly to changing conditions. As a person, you are unpretentious, collaborate well with others, and contribute to a positive and well-functioning work environment. You communicate clearly, attentively, and constructively. A B driver's license is required for the position.
