Accountant/Business Controller In this role, you will be responsible for qualified accounting work while also working with follow-up, analysis, and financial management. You will have a central position in the organization and work closely with management and project teams. You will be part of a smaller finance department with a close connection to the business, where each role carries significant responsibility and the opportunity to influence. The role encompasses both stability and development – and for the right person, there is an opportunity to grow alongside the company. There is room to influence, improve, and build smart working methods – we welcome initiatives and ideas. In a smaller and growing organization, we help each other where needed. This may involve supporting in related financial matters or contributing outside your formal role when the situation requires it.

Your responsibilities include, among others:

• Ongoing accounting, reconciliations, and VAT and tax reporting

• Monthly and annual financial statements

• Ongoing financial analysis and reporting

• Budgeting, forecasting, and financial management

• Project follow-up and result reporting

• Process development and system responsibility

• Participation in the implementation and development of business systems

• Contacts with auditors, banks, and authorities

Who are we looking for? We are looking for someone who is confident in the fundamentals of accounting and has several years of experience in qualified financial work. You understand the overall accounting flow, are familiar with financial statements, and have an interest in analysis and business-oriented follow-up. Perhaps you are currently working as an accountant and want to take the next step into a more operational and analytical role. Experience from project or contracting operations is an advantage, but most importantly, you are curious and want to contribute.

ABEKA El & Kraftanläggningar AB ABEKA El & Kraftanläggningar AB is an established contractor in the power sector with its headquarters in Nyköping. Since 1995, we have delivered complex infrastructure projects within the electricity distribution networks in Sweden and built a strong position in the market.

We have about 50 employees in total, of which around 20 work at our office in Nyköping. Here, we combine experienced project managers with technical installers in a team-based organization with high quality and strong commitment. We operate in a socially important industry with a continued high investment pace – and we have both the stability and ambition to continue developing.

Requirements

• Several years of experience in qualified accounting work

• Experience in independent financial statement work and responsibility for the accounting process

• Experience working in business systems

• Good proficiency in Excel as an analysis and follow-up tool

• Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written, as well as good knowledge of English

Meritorious

• Post-secondary education in economics

• Experience from project or contracting operations

• Experience in controlling and analysis

• Experience in system responsibility or process development
