Investigator with Quantitative Method Competence Wanted

Job Responsibilities

The main tasks consist of collecting and analyzing data, conducting qualified investigations and reviews, and writing reports. Reviews are usually conducted in cross-professional groups with participants from IAF's various units. The work involves both participating in and leading review groups. The tasks also include presenting the results of the reviews orally to those we review and to the Government Offices.

The tasks in the analysis unit are varied and may include:

• collecting and analyzing statistics from our database
• proposing, planning, and conducting reviews
• structuring and writing reports
• making statistical selections for reviews
• creating survey questions and conducting surveys
• conducting text analyses in large data sets
• performing correlation analyses
• answering questions from external stakeholders
• conducting interviews.

Competence Profile

We are looking for someone who is quantitatively oriented and holds a university degree. You should have at least 120 credits in economics and/or statistics, or experiences that we assess as equivalent. You should also have experience with Stata or similar software.

To succeed in this role, you need to:

• have good problem-solving analytical skills
• be quality-conscious
• have excellent collaboration skills
• be structured and able to prioritize tasks effectively
• be self-driven, flexible, and proactive
• communicate well in Swedish, both orally and in writing.

It is advantageous if you have experience in:

• extracting data from databases using SQL
• using additional programming languages, such as R and Python
• analyzing register data
• conducting data analyses of unstructured data, such as text analyses
• writing reports/investigations.

Working Hours/Duration

Full-time. The position is a permanent employment. IAF applies a probationary period of up to six months.
