The County Administrative Board of Södermanland is looking for a Registrar/Administrator (Ref. no. 112-768-2026)

The County Administrative Board is looking for a registrar or a highly experienced administrator with knowledge of record keeping, mail handling, and management of public documents. The position is located in the Department of Operations Management and Support, Case Management Unit. The unit consists of eight employees such as registrars, caretakers, IT coordinators, and drivers.

Job Responsibilities

You will be part of a team of 4 registrars in the central registry where the focus is on handling the authority's incoming mail, both digitally and physically. This includes record keeping, distribution of cases, administration and archiving of documents, as well as the release of public documents.

It is important to have structure, order, and clarity, and to be able to distribute and prioritize tasks together with colleagues when needed. You will follow the routines and guidelines that govern the operations and have a good understanding of the principle of public access.

The Case Management Unit supports each other in the unit's overall mission but also the county management, so it is important to be unpretentious and solution-oriented. The pace can sometimes be high, and it is important not to compromise on service and quality.

Qualifications and Profile

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Approved secondary education
  • Experience working as a registrar or equivalent that we assess as comparable
  • Experience from public administration
  • Good knowledge of the laws and regulations governing document management within public administration, including the Public Access and Secrecy Act
  • Good knowledge of MS Office
  • A well-developed ability to communicate in writing and verbally in Swedish
  • Good IT skills

It is an advantage if you have:

  • Knowledge of the County Administrative Board's organization and mission
  • Knowledge of the case management system Platina
  • Experience working with classified information

About the Position

The employment is a temporary position until 2027-02-28. The employment is 100% with the earliest start date on March 1, 2026.

All positions at the County Administrative Board may be subject to security clearance and military placement depending on the nature of the assignment.
